How Do Vehicles Get Nicknames In Nigeria That Stick?

I have always wondered how vehicles get nicknamed, and everyone seems to identify such vehicles by those nicknames.

Honda Accord - bullet, End of discussion etc etc etc
Toyota Camry - pencil, big 4 nothing etc etc
