Over 180,000 Teens Living With HIV In Nigeria - UNICEF
ABUJA, May 15 (Bernama) -- More than 180,000 teenagers are living with HIV in Nigeria, the United Nations Children Education Fund (UNICEF) said.
The latest figure was released during a national dialogue on adolescents living with HIV in Nigeria, Xinhua news agency reported.
Although Nigeria has carried out much prevention work for youths, more work is needed to address the needs of adolescents living with HIV.
The dialogue was organised by the Positive Action for Treatment Access (PATA) in collaboration with UNICEF and non-governmental organisation National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA).
