Aregbesola Inaugurates "Odidere" FM For Kids

State Governor of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, at the weekend, commissioned the radio arm of Reality Radiovision Service, “Odidere FM, 96.3.”

The inauguration was held as part of activities marking the 56th birthday of the governor.
Speaking with newsmen after the inauguration, the governor said the station would focus on educational programmes, in order to help the children.

According to him, “radio progammes can help children to acquire formal education. When students, especially the children, tune in their radio to listen to educational programme, it is possible for them to get what they were taught in school, and with this, help them the more.”

Speaking on the occasion, the state Commissioner for Information and Technology, Mr Sunday Akere, said “it is the vision of the government to make the radio arm to focus on educational programme, basically to help mould the future of young children in the state and beyond.”
