Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will hope to get their Toulon Tournament campaign back on track when they face Belgium U21 team on Sunday.

The Flying Eagles lost their opening game 2-0 to defending champions Mexico and would be expected to step up their game against Belgium, who have lost their first two games.

Purpose

Belgium, who are preparing for next month’s European U21 Championships in Israel, lost 2-1 to Brazil in their first game.

They also lost 2-0 to Portugal on Friday with the Flying Eagles in the stands to watch the game at the Nimes Olympique Stadium.

Belgium looked tired in their second game in four days and they may well be further extended when they play their third game in six days against a more likely fresher Nigeria.
Sunday’s match will be played at the Parc des Sports in Avignon from 5.30pm local time, which is 4.30pm Nigerian time.

The match will be shown live on Supersport3.
