The android OS is one of the worlds leading OS,it also has a lotta developers ready to create a new software for your every desire,some are useful while some re juhs to cash in on the ignorance of user,so here is a list i compiled myself,a list of redundant apps u really might not need.
1)ANTIVIRUS :
These supposedly give u real time protection ,from malware nd virus that the average android device z susceptible to,u even have the chance to upgrade it for more features ,they are always runing killing battery juice,nd eating up RAM,but u don't really care,since they are doing their job it z a sacrifice.but there z a catch ,do they really do their job.?
NOT REALLY
The Android os has a kind of virtual memory or playground called "SANDBOX" ,it z a highly restricted region where apps do their function,their access to memory is controlled,so if in any case their is a bug in the app it won't affect system files or memory.the "ANTIVIRUS "is subject to this sandbox limitation too.it only works with the memory sandbox allows.
come to think of it how many times have u been given a real virus alert,or how it manages to scan a 32gig sd within 3minutes,so y keep an ever running app dat cant even have access to deep part of a your memory.?
2)BATTERY SAVERS:
these apps are meant to help you save battery while running forever on memory and battery,in as much as they do not really affect the hardware involved.they also give ridiculous figures like 27h30mins on 3g talktime.,*sighs*
these apps reduce system performance in essence reduce user experience nd are fraught with random ads,always running on memory and Ram.killing more juice than they save.u want more juice get a better battery,nd unclog ur RAM.
4)RAM booster
the android os being a smart OS ,it know how to regulate itself ,apps are kept running cos u need dem,and some re cached for easy opening
NOTE.cached app re not running dey re juhs dere ,no cpu cycles,they are left xo u can easily acceess dem since the RAM is faster dan the internal memory or transflash.
xo apps are loaded and unloaded as the need be ,everything runs smoothly.
SUDDENLY!
u decide to install an ever running app,with the soul aim of freeing memory for your VEIWING PLEASURE .what is the need of having an android phone if u dont run gmail,google play services and other pertinent stuffs.
some even go ahead to stop SETTINGS when veiwing there RAM usage in apps management section
,common dude where do u think apps management resides ,GALLERY??it z in settings too.u shouldnt really care abuh ur RAM it knows it work.
as my able Puskin will say "unused RAM is wasted RAM"
