Annoying Things Nigerian Companies Do

Have you ever noticed some of the very annoying ways Nigerian companies run their businesses? Most of these same acts are not repeated when these very same companies step out of the shores of Nigeria. They tend to act according to the rules and regulations of their host country and over any other thing PLACE THEIR CUSTOMERS IN HIGH ESTEEM unlike what we have in Nigeria where the companies treat their customers as semi slaves and their employees as slaves. Even worse than the ill treatment give to Konta Konte.

Below are some of the very annoying things Nigerian Companies do.

* DSTV - They only remember to call you to find out if your dstv is working perfectly 3days to when your subscription will expire. Please don't be fooled, they are only using style to remind you that they still exist and so you shouldn't forget to renew your bouquet.

* MTN (same with other GSM companies) - Send you random and very useless text messages intermittently. in the space of 1hour up to 3 of those very annoying messages keep bombarding your phone some will even enter as early as 1am when every normal human being is meant to be asleep. Also they subscribe you to some caller tune crap without your permission all for the sake of deducting money from your account every month.

GT BANK
- In as much as i like this bank, they keep coming up with some sickening rules every other day. I.e. You cant receive western union over the counter again and only with a current affair, You must collect collect an atm card for your personal account 9na by force to get atm?). And most annoying is some of their staff wanting to make it appear you don't have the right to demand for money you presume were wrongfully deducted from your account.

UBA - As for this bank, i doubt if any impatient person still bank with them. They will win the award for having the rudest and nastiest staff in the Nigerian banking industry.

GSM OPERATORS - Please! Please!! and Please!!! the federal government alongside the ministry of Youths empowerment and social development should put a final stop to these companies raking in billions of naira every day only to splash the money sponsoring irrelevant and non-beneficial shows and artist while the ignore things of positive impact. These companies are the reason why our youths no longer think going to school is of any importance again. apart from cow bell who deemed it fit not to follow the bandwagon, others just splash more encouraging the "lazy way to success". And we sit and wonder why Nigeria is not developing intellectually? thats the reason staring at us right in the face and things are likely to get worse pretty soon (just like USA) where they depend on youths and teens from other nations for intellectual might and research. Lets take a cue from the likes of Japan, China, Germany, India, Indonesia and even fast developing Malaysia.
