The little girl was first raped by the suspect while she was living with her sister. She however got raped again on March 18, 2019 after her sister traveled. The victim’s sister, Odunola Ajayi, said she agreed to Friday’s marriage proposal after she lost her mother to stroke in 2016 and became homeless. A widow's world has just been overturned as reports have it her landlady allegedly killed her husband with juju before fleeing.

The widow identified as Bose Oladele, who resides at 16 Adekoya Street in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, alleged that the landlady of their house and her daughters murdered her husband, Idowu Oladele, over the weekend.

The fleeing landlady, Fausat Ibrahim, was alleged to have hit the deceased with a charm on his chest, causing him to slump and died moments before being rushed to the hospital, Vanguard reports.

Late Oladele’s widow, Bose, who narrated in tears how her husband was allegedly killed, stated that trouble started after she and her late husband returned from a party at about 9 pm on Saturday.

She stated that they left the cooler which was used to take food to the party, at their door step, with the intention to wash them next day.

According to her:

”barely had we settled down than we heard bangs on the door. When my husband opened the door, he found our landlady and her two children, Awwal and Zainab.“The landlady asked why we put our property at our doorstep, that every part of the compound belongs to her.

While my husband tried to reply, her son, Awwal, hit him on his head.

As he turned to face Awwal, the landlady used a charm to hit my husband on his chest.  He (husband) started jerking and after some minutes, he
fell and died.”

Other tenants in the compound said the fleeing suspect had threatened severally to kill the deceased.

According to a tenant, who spoke on the condition of anonymity:

“She has been threatening to take his life on several occasions. In fact, just some days ago, the landlady told Idowu that she would kill him very soon, because he was daring her in that compound.”

Outrage As Amazon Was Caught Selling Gagged Sex Doll

Amazon has been caught selling a gagged sex doll, which appears to be positioned in a rape posture.

The £61 doll, which some people claimed looked like a child, was removed from the site following a complaint that it was "nauseating" and being sold for "male sexual abuse".

Photos show the “adult toy” with its hands tied around its back and a gag over its mouth. The doll was described as being "flexible" and “safe and easy to clean”.

Buyers were advised not to “worry about twisting or tearing" the doll when using it.

The woman who made the complaint, who wishes to remain anonymous, told Amazon on social media they were selling “a sex doll of a child, tied at her ankles, wrists, chest and gagged.

"A child, depicted as helpless and terrified in a corner. Sold for male sexual (ab)use."She claimed:

"The doll is fitted with fully usable, realistic hairless sex organs and the company is proud that it can withstand the weight of men weighing up to 380 lbs.“I am shocked to my core that Amazon is selling this.

No 'report' button, either!

“It pains me so much that we, as a society, are allowing this sort of thing to be sold at all. It appals me even more that they are sold so openly on a popular, family-friendly site such as Amazon, because that normalises the mentality that demands, creates, sells and buys such utterly nauseating products.

"The product description outlines the specific details of the doll which include: “medical non-toxic super soft silicone, feels real. It is like leather without odor, safe and easy to clean.”

Nigerian Weed Smoker Almost Ran Mad (Photos)

"Weed Has Damaged The Brain Of My Brother, Help!!"

There's this cousin brother of mine who has been into this weed stuff of a thing for over two years now.
he's a very calm and responsible boy that he managed to keep it secret for years now.

During this ASSU strike combined with holiday he seemed to go into the act full time that made me suspect him(my family detest smoking and drug abuse of all kind) so he still managed to keep it hidden.
fast forward to Sunday this week morning.
They called my dad who's highly respected in the family informing him about how my cousin was misbehaving insulting everyone in the family.
we went there together with my DAD and we were more than surprised about the information we Got.
this guy was talking to everybody anyhow, he even beat a small boy of about 12years and was claiming the boy has witch and he wants to show the boy that he's stronger than him. this my cousin bro is about 22years of age.
he was even talking to my dad without respect warning his uncles and elder brothers that he would deal with all of them.
that Sunday we took him to our home since his claims that day was that his brothers were the ones looking for his trouble.
he went in took his bath and eat.
after eating, we let him sleep for sometime with high hopes that he would cool off.
he did eventually cool off after waking up but was over reactive to things. he was full of confidence that we all just had to let him be and comply with him at that moment.

That night we slept in our house in my room together. at around 12am he woke me and told me(authoritatively) to relocate to the other room that he wants to pray.
I heeded to him not to provoke him after some few hours he called me again with high command ordering me to come which I did, he said I should stand still where I am and that I should tell him what time it was. I was trying to approximate the time and tell him he said that I should go back and check my phone which I did considering his situation.
he then said I should set alarm at 5:20 am so he can wake to subhi prayee(morning prayer), which I did.
after about every 30min till daybreak, he just walks in to my room to check time till that 5:20 when my alarm rang which he then woke the whole family for prayer.
he was walking to the mosque that morning with hands widely opened and full of confidence.
Monday morning we both were suppose to return back to school on Sunday evening but had to postpone till Monday cos of the situation.
he left my house as early as 8am claiming he has lecture by 10am that morning.
we both reside in different campus so I can't really tell much about his school life though.
this morning I was called that he refused going to school and that he was misbehaving again even adding me to his list of beefs. he claims no one can force or stop him and he was arrogant to the whole people in the community.
I called and asked if he smoked again and they claimed he didn't smoke since that Sunday morning and they've been watching him since then.
we later did some findings and found out that he bought this weed from a different supplier.
the boy who introduced him to this supplier is my neighbour who is a well known drug and weed abuser.
the guy has been in multiple situation fighting with his parents whenever he smokes.

pls and pls nairalanders, I would like you guys to proffer solution as we wouldn't like to take him to psychiatric except the needs be.

Pls help push to front page let the world see the negative effect of this drug and also help me with solution..

Private individuals in South Africa will no longer be allowed to acquire the services of Johannesburg Metro Police Department escorts, thanks to an old video of Pastor Alph Lukau that has resurfaced online.

In the video, he was seen being driven to his church in a white Rolls-Royce, followed by a convoy of another Rolls-Royce and Range Rover, escorted by Johannesburg Metro Police Department escorts officers on motorbikes as SAPS officers lead the way on horseback. Questions were now been asked whether this was allowed.

Both Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) escorts chief David Tembe and Joburg Mayor Herman Mashaba responded in statements, saying the incident happened under the previous JMPD leadership and that Lukau had paid for the escort as members of the public were allowed to do.

We May Start Selling Petrol Above N145 – IPMAN

Femi Makinde

The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria has urged the Federal Government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation to ensure that private depot owners maintain the official ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) at N133.28 per litre.

The Chairman, IPMAN, Ore Depot, Mr Shina Amoo, who said this in an interview with our correspondent in Lagos on Monday, stated that independent marketers might soon start selling beyond N145 per litre if depot owners continued to sell between N136.50 and N137 per litre.

Amoo urged the NNPC to prevail on depot owners not to sell beyond the official ex-depot price in order to enable marketers to sell to consumers at N145 per litre.

He said, “Private depot owners have increased the ex-depot price of PMS beyond N133.28 per litre. We bought a litre of PMS between N136.50 and N137 per litre from private depot owners last weekend. This can affect the pump price at which independent marketers will sell the product, and it will certainly be beyond the N145, which is the official pump price.

“We, independent marketers, are law-abiding. We don’t want to sell above the official pump price and that is why we are urging the government to do something about it and make the product abundantly available. They should monitor private depot owners to make sure they don’t sell above the official ex-depot price of N133.28.

“The NNPC is the sole importer and nobody has the right to increase the price but if they continue to sell to us above the official ex-depot price, we will have no option than to increase the pump price above N145 per litre. The increase in price by private depot owners will eventually push the burden on the marketers and final consumers.”

Amoo lauded the Federal Government for the rehabilitation of the Ilorin Depot of the NNPC while urging it to revive the Ore Depot as well in order to reduce the problem of transportation of petroleum products and to create more jobs in the area.

The NNPC Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Mr Ndu Ughamadu, had in a statement dated March 30 warned private depot owners against increasing the ex-depot price.

He said, “The subsisting ex-depot petrol price of N133. 28k per litre was consistent with the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency’s template and should be adhered to.”

Ughamadu stated that NNPC held stock of over one billion litres, adding that imports of 48 vessels of 50 million litres each had been committed for the month of April alone.

Drama As Labour Party, Governorship Candidate Disown, Attack Lawyer In Tribunal

ABEOKUTA – The Ogun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Isabo, Abeokuta, the State capital, Monday, started on a dramatic note as Labour Party, whose petition was before the panel, disowned and attacked a Counsel, Kehinde Ayanwale, for announcing appearance for it.

Ayanwale had announced his appearance along with others, in the petition number EPT/OG/GOV/02/2019 before the tribunal and attempted moving a motion ex parte when Justice Chinwe Onyeabor, chairman of the three-man panel, observed that four persons were in court for a matter with two petitioners.

Upon inquiry, another counsel, Hassan Balogun, also announced his appearance for Labour Party for the same matters, alleging that Ayanwale and his clients were paid by some unnamed politicians to scuttle the petition.

At this point, the tribunal allowed both the party’s chairman, Abayomi Oluwafemi, and the governorship candidate in the 2019 election, Dupe Sayanolu, to address the tribunal.

Sanyaolu told the tribunal that she had never met Ayanwale and never briefed him to handle the matter on her behalf and the party.

Sanyaolu further alleged that the lawyer and his clients had been collecting money from politicians on her behalf because of the case.

Ayanwale’s plea to strike out the name of the governorship candidate from the petition was also met with anger as Abayomi and the party’s legal adviser, Monday Mawah, descended on the counsel.

Abayomi informed the court that he was shocked when he learnt that a lawyer had filed a case before the tribunal without brief from the party’s chairman and candidate.

While disowning the lawyer, Abayomi, said he had never met the lawyer and had never briefed him to file any petition before the tribunal.

Abayomi said he conducted the primary, which produced the governorship candidate and that he had a letter of authority from the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

Mawah, who was visibly angry with his colleague, Ayanwale, said he was ashamed that men of the legal profession could engage and indulge in criminality and illegality.

Justice Onyeabor expressed sadness at the conduct of the counsel, saying representation before the court is a constitutional matter and that it is the person going to court that has the right to choose a lawyer.

She said: “While the tribunal will not be dreaming into any intra-party issue, the case before us is a case of illegal representation. The choice of counsel is a constitutional matter. It is strange if the people you claimed to be representing are saying you don’t have their brief. It is the person going to court that has the right to choose lawyer, I feel very sad.

“Unless Labour Party has two candidates, we have to go with the petitioner, except there’s another candidate, who must have passed through the primaries and election.”

The chairman further said the tribunal would not go on with the case because of non-compliance of conditions precedent.

Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has threatened to sue anyone who speaks or writes anything negative about her daughter, Ryan Roberts, whom she had for a British photographer.

According to her, she has gotten used to bad reports about herself, but what she won't tolerate is her daughter being cast in such light.

“People wish bad for me and that is what I don’t understand. People are so interested in the negative stuff I am used to the stories but my worry is why they are interested in the negativity.

“You know people are wicked. Even if they hear the good things, they don’t want to believe it, they won’t write about the good things. As I have given birth, I have realized that people want to direct their issues to the child, who hasn’t done anything to them. I am used to that but sometimes it gets too much", Yvonne Nelson said.

She added:

“She hasn’t done anything to anyone, she is an innocent child. So, as for that one, if you say anything bad, I can get offended but with me, I understand because of my work it comes with the job.

“But now, I if the child issue comes in, I will let my lawyer call you. If you know someone who used to talk about me and the person has stopped, it means my lawyer has called that person. I will make sure that I sue. And so if you don’t fear to sue, go ahead and peddle falsehood one day, you will fall into the trap”.

Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) says it is taking all necessary legal steps to ensure that no illegal or fraudulent execution is carried out over its court case with Innoson Motors.

Recall that Innoson Nigeria Ltd. had announced that it obtained a writ of Fifa from the Federal High Court in Awka, Anambra State, against GTB.

According to the company, the writ is to effect the judgment given by the Federal High Court in Ibadan and upheld by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.

The Company Secretary of GTB, Mr Erhi Obebeduo, in a statement, however, assured the bank’s customers of the safety of their funds.

In its clarification, GTB said the judgement was applicable to the account of the Nigerian Customs Service Board domiciled with the bank, rather than the bank as an entity.

“The attention of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (“the Bank”) has been drawn to statements circulating in the news and social media in respect of a purported enforcement of a judgement of the Federal High Court, Ibadan, Oyo State, at one of its branches in Anambra State.

“The bank, as a law-abiding corporate citizen, is taking all necessary legal steps to address this situation and ensure that no illegal or fraudulent execution is carried out.

“It is important to state that the judgment allegedly in issue is in respect of a Garnishee Proceedings against the account of the Nigerian Customs Service Board domiciled with the bank and not against the bank as an entity.

“The bank remains committed to providing best-in- class customer experience to all its valued customers,” it said.

Buhari Rejects National Assembly’s Debt Figures For States

$
0
0
President Muhammadu Buhari for the second time has said the National Assembly inflated the debt figures to be repaid by the federal government to some states.

He asked the lawmakers to send details of the amounts they approved for Delta and Taraba States.

He said he would go ahead to pay the amount earlier approved by the federal executive council and not the National Assembly figure.

The debt repayment in promissory notes is for projects executed on behalf of the federal government by various state governments.

A promissory note is a debt instrument which one party promises in writing to pay a determinate sum of money to the other, either at a fixed or determinable future time, under specific terms
His request was communicated via a letter which was read out by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday.

In the letter, Mr Buhari pointed out that the total amount approved by the National Assembly to Delta and Taraba states was higher than the amount approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

He also said the National Assembly of not approving reimbursement to Bauchi and Kogi states after FEC approved reimbursements for them.

Part of the letter read, “I wish to inform the Senate that we have received the approval of the National Assembly via letter referenced NASS/CNA/106/volume11/004 dated 29th January 2019 for refunds to Delta and Taraba states through the issuance of a promissory note for projects executed on behalf of the federal government.

“In view of the approval of the National Assembly, the following was observed:

1. While the Federal Executive Council approved the total sum of N78 billion (78,601,631,430.16), as reimbursement to Delta and Taraba state governments, national assembly approved N90 billion (90,236,461,031.36) which is higher than the amount approved by the Federal Executive Council.

2. The national assembly did not approve any reimbursement to Bauchi and Kogi states governments whereas the Federal Executive Council approved reimbursement for them.”

The president reminded the lawmakers of the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007 which empowers the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) to approve contracts – as he said the amounts presented to the National Assembly were duly certified for reimbursement by the Bureau before they were approved by FEC.

“Since the Bureau of Public Procurement is charged with the responsibility of approving contractual sums when there is a need for compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007, I wish to request that you forward to us details relating to the amount approved by the national assembly for Delta and Taraba states in essence of what certified by the Bureau of Public Procurement for necessary certification approval.

“Meanwhile, the federal government shall proceed with the implementation by reimbursing the amount approved by the federal executive council. Furthermore, I wish to suggest that you review their reimbursement in favour of Bauchi and Kogi state governments while looking forward to timely consideration of the request,” he said.

This is the second time the president will accuse the National Assembly of inflating debts to be repaid to states.

He had in December 2018 accused the National Assembly of approving N488 billion as reimbursement to the state governments while FEC approved 487 billion.

He had also accused the lawmakers of approving reimbursements to 21 states after FEC approved reimbursements for 25 states.

Delta APC: Court Upholds Election Of Omo-Agege, Other Candidates

Delta APC: Court upholds election of Omo-Agege, other candidates

by Polycarp Orosevwotu, Ughelli April 2, 2019

The Federal High Court sitting in Warri has upheld the candidacy of Sen. Ovie Omo-Agege and the other candidates of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, who emerged through the primaries supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and conducted by the Party’s National working Committee (NWC).

The presiding judge, Justice Emeka Ewite in his judgement delivered on Tuesday struck out the suit filed by the plaintiff, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor challenging the validity of the primary election that produced Sen Omo-Agege.

Justice Ewite struck out the suit on the ground that it is incompetent and lacking in merit.

He noted that Sen. Omo-Agege and Rev. Francis Waive, the winners of the Delta Central Senatorial District and Ughelli/ Udu Federal Constituency respectively, were necessary parties who ought to have been joined to the suit.

The Judge further observed that Emerhor failed to deny the counter-affidavit filed by INEC, that it did not monitor the primary election for which he purportedly emerged.

“Failure to deny the counter-affidavit is an admission which required no further proof that INEC only monitored the primaries in which Sen. Omo-Agege emerged.

“INEC is to supervise or monitor primary elections and not to conduct,” he said.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the judgement, counsel to the APC, Barr Lucky Ajokperiniovo described the court verdict as a landmark for the party and all the candidates that emerged legitimately through the primaries conducted by the APC.

“It is a landmark judgment, the court has again reaffirmed the position of the Supreme Court to say that persons who are not joined as parties to a suit are not bound by the judgement given by that court.

“The Court struck out the suit filed by Emerhor for being incompetent and lacking in merit ”

“The court says Omo-Agege’s primary elections remain the valid and legitimate primary election conducted by the National Working Committee (NWC)/of the APC.

“The consent judgement is a judgement of court that is valid and binding on all persons until it is set aside.

This judgement has given the party huge relief in determining who is the senatorial candidate in the 2019 general election in Delta Central,” he said.

Also, counsel representing INEC, Barr Robert Emukpoeruo said that the national electoral umpire was neutral and impartial.

“It is the statutory duty of the INEC to monitor primary elections and report those who won and their scores.

“The report by INEC shows that Omo-Agege won the primaries conducted by the NWC.

Counsel to Emerhor, Mr GC Igbokwe in his remark said, “We are happy with the judgment,” he said.

Recalled that Sen. Omo-Agege who is the incumbent senator representing the Delta Central at the upper legislative chamber was re-elected in the recent National Assembly elections.
