MC Oluomo’s two children graduate from US varsities
Twin children of the Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, have graduated from universities in the United States.
The twins, Taiye and Kehinde Akinsanya, took to their respective Instagram pages to share pictures from their graduation.
Kehinde bagged a degree in Healthcare Management from Albany State University, Georgia. The young man graduated with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.4/4.0.
Sharing pictures from his graduation, he wrote, ” I’m really grateful for the time I spent at ASU. This HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) showed me, love, from the very first day I stepped my foot on campus, but when I stepped foot on the yard, It was a whole other love.
“I appreciate my brothers who I never thought I would have met. I appreciate my parents and siblings for the support and motivation, my family who showed me love from the bottom to the top. No long paragraph but Yktv.
“‘If you can imagine it, you can achieve it; if you can dream it, you can become it.”
She wrote on Friday, “Alhamdulillah, all praise to Allah. December 11 2021, I will be graduating from Columbus State University with my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a minor in Management. Latin honours in Cum Laude.

The explosion took place at the uncompleted building area of Dagiri not far from the Lokoja/Abuja road in Gwagwalada.
Eyewitnesses said the injured have been rushed to Zamad Hospital in the Dagiri area of Gwagwalada.
The eyewitnesses told Daily Trust that trouble started when a customer came to buy fuel and was frantically making calls.
“We can’t really say what happened, but all we heard was an explosion, boom”.

Nigerian Government To Place UK, Canada, Saudi Arabia On COVID-19 Red List, Stop Airlines From Flying Into Country
The Nigerian Government has stated that it will place the United Kingdom, Canada and Saudi Arabia on a red list over the outbreak and spread of Coronavirus' Omicron variant.
The President Muhammadu Buhari's administration say it will also stop airlines from those countries coming into Nigeria in retaliation for the three nations banning travels from Nigeria over the new COVID-19 variant.
Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, revealed this in an audio recording obtained by SaharaReporters on Saturday.
The minister noted that if the countries placed Nigeria on a red list, they lacked a moral right to have their airlines coming to Nigeria for commercial services.
Sirika said, “There is also a case of Saudi Arabia that put Nigeria on the ban list; Canada. Today, there was a meeting in which I participated from the COVID-19 Task Force.
“We have given our input that it is not acceptable by us and we recommend that those countries – Canada, UK, Saudi Arabia and Argentina – be also put on the red list.
"So, like they did to us, if they don’t allow our citizens into their country; who are they coming as airlines to pick out of our country?
“So, they are not supposed to come in. I am very sure in the next three days; Monday or Tuesday, all those countries will be put on the red list of COVID-19.
"Once they are on the red list, which means they are banned, their airlines will also be banned. I am so sorry we are going through difficult times, but it is in the interest of our country.”
SaharaReporters had reported earlier that citing the increasing cases of Omicron, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia suspended flights from Nigeria.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia had confirmed the flight suspension in a circular to all airlines operating in the Kingdom.
On Wednesday, there were unconfirmed reports that there were preparations for repatriating Nigerians in the Kingdom over Omicron.
The UK on its own had last Saturday included Nigeria on a red list of country where non-British travellers were banned over the new COVID-19 variant.
The British High Commission had also last Sunday said it would stop issuing visitor visa applications from all red list countries including Nigeria.
The Federal Government had rejected the ban imposed on Nigeria by UK and Canada over Omicron.

BULLYING TRAGEDY: YouTube star, 21, takes her own life after being bombarded with hateful messages online ‘for years’
Kristina 'Kika' Dukic, 21, was found dead at home in the Serbian capital of Belgrade on December 8 after "years" of alleged online abuse.
The death of the internet personality, who had more than a million followers across Instagram, YouTube and Twitch, was first made public by her mum Natasa.
A post, which has since disappeared, confirmed her passing, adding that anyone having suicidal thoughts should seek help.
And a close friend of the star, Mira Vladisavljevic, tearfully told Serbian tabloid Telegraf: "A terrible thing happened last night.
"I appeal to all the media to carefully report on this case and on the girl who struggled with bullying for five years. Please understand."
A string of social media posts suggested Kristina had been battling bullying online for several years.
In one video, she explained that whatever she did, it was never good enough.
Kristina then tried to explain to critics that it was important to be happy and to do what you wanted in life before describing the hate-filled message she had received.
This included people vilifying her appearance and accusing her of having plastic surgery.
One of her main critics was Serbian gamer Bogdan Ilic, as known as Baka Prase, who has more than a million Instagram followers.
He trawled through her videos, labelling her as a fake according to local media outlet Republika.
The newspaper also reports that, due to his large following, things quickly escalated and his supporters bombarded Kristina's posts with hateful comments, including some which said: "Kill yourself."
Bogdan has allegedly since tried to distance himself from the situation, claiming that he had become friends with Kristina before her death.
According to another local media outlet, Direktno, Bogdan claimed he was "among the first" to be told of Kristina's passing.
"I'm sorry about what happened. I'm sorry I didn't announce that we reconciled and became friends," he added.
"I'm sorry because people don't know the reason and point the finger.
"They do not give the dead peace and respect, just to get a few likes, to fulfill their desire for revenge and in the ugliest possible way."
Kristina's final post, shared on November 11, read: "She said, 'Where we goin'?' I said, 'The moon'."
The circumstances surrounding her death are being investigated, the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia said.
An Instagram post from December 11 confirmed Kristina's funeral will be held at one of Belgrade's largest cemeteries in Lešće on December 14.
Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of Politician, Femi Fani-Kayode, cries out over the custody of her children.

A few days ago I read a news report credited to Femi Falana S.A.N.
He was reported to have said " Pastor Adeboye, you are building business centres not churches"
I have waited for 72hrs hoping that the highly acclaimed human rights lawyer and public advocate will deny the story. But this never happened.
Femi Falana is a personal friend and i could have taken this up with him privately. But i choose to comment publicly because of the public image of femi Falana who i recognise that he has a large following in the country especially among the youths and the civil society family both in Nigeria and abroad. It is imperative to publicly correct his falsehood lest he mislead many whi believe in him.
I write these comments not because i want to defend pastor Adeboye. I am by far too inconsequential to take up such a role.i know for a fact that those who defend pastor adeboye operate at such a sublime realm that I cannot even comprehend. And there lies the foolishness of falana's comments.
Pastor Adeboye and the RCCG are obeying the instructions of our Lord Jesus when he charged his disciples to go into every corner on the surface of the earth and preach the gospel.Mark16:15
This the RCCG complies with by spreading the gospel through the planting of churches erronously referred to as "business centers"all over the world, by femi Falana.
Secondly Christian's are mandated by the scriptures to give tithes and offerings.
The more members a church has, the more tithes and offerings it will collec abd the richer the churches get. Quite frankly also the richer the pastors and heads of the churches also get. Because they are scripturally allowed to partake in the wealth of the churches. 1 cor vs 13.
Those who work in the temple eat from the temple and those who serve at the alter share what is offered at the alter.
Falana can admonish the church as a christian to use a greater portion of their wealth to support the poor and the needy in the society, even the scriptures are full of such admonitions.
Femi Falana should stay in the areas of his core competence and not dabble into religion where obviously he is so uninformed.
Casting aspersions on great men of God like Pastor Adeboye is unwise and very very dangerous.
These great Generals in the Christiandom are certainly not infallible but because of the Lord's anointing they carry on their heads, even when they go wrong, they can only be judged by God Himself.
I will enjoin my brother and friend the highly respected silk to repent and ask for forgiveness from God for his reckless statement.

I have read the 30 or so responses to my comments on the above matter.
I stand by my views.
Nothing in this world can change my stand with Lord Jesus who is my only hope of glory.
As I wrote previously, my statement was not intended to defend Pastor Adeboye. I repeat I have no competence to do so. I do not say this to seek favour from pastor Adeboye but as a man of God if I find favour in his eyes I rejoice.
However i wrote for the exact reason which the many critics on my wall made their cases.
If money is collected from the satellite churches and sent to the headquarters , let the judgement be on them that administer the funds but let God who gave them commission be the judge, Not mere mortals like you and I who also have our own secret and presumptuous sins. As long as the gospel is preached the scripture is fulfilled. My faith, my reasoning and stand at all times concerning Christianity is based not any doctrine but strictly and solely on the word of God as expressed in the bible. No more no less.
